Flange is a common machinery industry product, flange is also called flange flange. The flange is a part connected between the pipe and the pipe, which is used for the connection between the pipe ends; it is also used in the flange of the equipment inlet and outlet for the connection between the two equipment. So it is also called fastener.
There are two types of forging processes with neck butt welding flanges:
1: Die forging; that is, heating the steel material to 1200C in a heating furnace, and then forging into the mold of the corresponding specification. 2 "-10" (DN50-DN250) need to punch the inner hole with a special punch.
2: It is free forging. The raw materials are heated to 1200C in a heating furnace, then the square material is forged into a round cake shape, punched, and the punched raw materials are reamed to the required size with special equipment (roller bar and carriage). Suitable for (DN300-DN3000) specifications.
American standard butt welded flanges, German standard butt welded flanges can be pressed into shape during forging. Pressure vessel butt-welded flanges of Class II can also be pressed out of the neck.
