Types of Alloy Steel Flanges
Alloy Steel Flange Cover
The alloy steel flange cover is also called blind flange and blind plate. It is a flange without a hole in the middle for sealing the pipe plug.There are many types of sealing surfaces: flat face (FF), raised face (RF), male and female surface (MFM), and ring joint surface (RJ).
Alloy Steel DIN Threaded Flange
The alloy steel DIN threaded flange is a non-welding flange, which is made of the inner hole of the flange into pipe threads and connected with the pipe with screw thread.
Alloy Steel JIS Flat Welding Flange

Manufacturing Process of Alloy Steel Flanges
Alloy steel flanges are manufactured using a combination of steel and other elements like chromium, nickel, and molybdenum.
The manufacturing process involves melting the steel and other elements together to form an alloy. The alloy is then poured into a mold, where it is allowed to cool and solidify.
Once the alloy has cooled and solidified, it is removed from the mold and shaped into the desired flange shape.
The flange is then heat-treated to increase its strength and durability.
Ensure that alloy steel flanges are properly installed according to manufacturer guidelines and industry standards. Improper installation can lead to leaks, pressure drops, and other problems.
Before installation, thoroughly clean the flange surfaces and the mating pipe ends. Remove any dirt, debris, or rust that could affect the sealing performance.
