Stainless steel flange in our current life can be said to be very common, we also know that stainless steel flange connection is the most basic and most common connection method in a variety of containers and process pipelines, production process requirements or consider the convenience of manufacturing, transportation, installation and maintenance. The connection between the container and the process pipe is often a detachable structure, that is, a flange connection, which has a good connection strength and tightness, and a wide range of applicable sizes. According to the shape of the joint surface, it can be divided into the following types:

1) Smooth: used for stainless steel valves with low pressure. Processing is more convenient.

2) Concave and convex type: the working pressure is higher, and the medium hard washer can be used

3) mortise and groove type: gaskets with large plastic deformation can be used widely in corrosive media, and the sealing effect is better.

4) Trapezoidal groove type: with oval metal ring as a washer, used for working pressure ≥64 kg/cm2 of valves, or high temperature valves.

5) Lens type: The washer is a lens shape and is made of metal. For high pressure valves with working pressure ≥100 kg/cm2, or high temperature valves.

6) O-ring type: This is a relatively new form of flange connection, it is developed with the emergence of various rubber O-rings.
